DODON ENGLISH is a voice shooting game. Pictures of everyday things fly across the screen, and you catch them by saying their English names out loud, fast. You answer with your voice: no tapping, no spelling, no multiple choice. Say it, and the word is yours: it goes into your own Word Book.

LEVEL UP STEP BY STEP, STARTING WITH EVERYDAY WORDS

Try Stage 1 free: about 90% of its words are easy ones (CEFR-J A1–A2, beginner level). Then, with the Main Game and the Expansion Pack, level up to harder words for things you see around you every day.

  • Stage 1 and the Main Game: Zoo & Park, School, Home & Kitchen, Town & Shops, and Sea & Aquarium. 100 words per stage.
  • The Expansion Pack adds 6 stages and 600 words: Farm & Forest, Theme Park, Body & Health, Offices & Station, Restaurant Kitchen, and Home Center. Up to 1,100 words in all.
  • Every stage ends with a boss. Clear Stages 1 to 5 to unlock Boss Rush: the words you have met come back all mixed together, against 5 bosses in a row.
  • Three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Get good, and an even harder one appears…
  • Grab the magnifier item to see how the names of the pictures on the screen are spelled.

CATCH IT, OR PRACTICE IT

  • Words you catch are saved in your Word Book with their pictures. Tap ▶ Listen to hear them.
  • After each game, the results screen lists the words you missed. Tap ▶ Listen to hear each one, then say it out loud right there. Or use Practice Missed to go through them all at once.

PLAYS OFFLINE. YOUR VOICE STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE.

  • Your spoken English is recognized right on your device. Your voice is never recorded or sent anywhere.
  • Pictures, words, and speech recognition are all inside the app, so you can play offline, with no connection.
PLEASE NOTE
  • The game uses your microphone. Please allow microphone access the first time.
  • You play with your voice, so play where you can speak out loud.
  • Your Word Book and stage clears are saved on this device and do not move to a new one.
  • The screen can be shown in 10 languages (Settings > Language). Whatever you choose, you learn English words.
  • Your play record is sent only when you tap Send play record. It includes only the words you said, times, and device type, never your voice. You can keep playing without sending it, but your records help us fix bugs and make the game better.
